Swedish Agro Machinery will continue as a dealer of new SAMSON machines until this date and customers can also have their SAMSON machines and implements serviced here until 30 June 2022.
Swedish customers can per 1 January 2022 choose whether they want to use Swedish Agro Machinery or Samson Agrolize AB when purchasing spare parts or need service work carried out.
"Swedish Agro Machinery has done a great job for the SAMSON brand in Sweden with, among other things, building a sales and service organization with dedicated SAMSON specialists, we would like to thank them for that," says Group Market Director at SAMSON GROUP Peter Thorn and continues:
"It was never our intention that our collaboration with Swedish Agro Machinery should end, but since we recently had a unique opportunity to take over Gøma A/S, which already has a strong organization in Sweden, it is natural for us that with the trading company Samson Agrolize, which Gøma A/S has become a part of and which already handles sales and service of our products in Denmark, now takes over this task from Swedish Agro Machinery in Sweden".
Both Peter Thorn and CEO of Swedish Agro Machinery, Hans-Christian Ripa, emphasize that the current distribution agreement between the two companies will be complied with by both parties until the current agreements cease.
Until 30 June 2022, Swedish Agro Machinery will continue with aftermarket activities for SAMSON.
Already from 1 January 2022, Samson Agrolize AB will open up the sale of original SAMSON spare parts as well as service and claims work in parallel with Swedish Agro Machinery. From this date, Swedish customers will therefore be able to choose for themselves whether they shop at Swedish Agro Machinery or Samson Agrolize AB, just as the two companies in parallel take care of warranty obligations on newly sold SAMSON machines as well as those that are still covered by warranty.
"Samson Agrolize AB of course takes over both service and warranty obligations on newly sold SAMSON machines as well as those that are still covered by warranty." says Peter Thorn.
Hans-Christian Ripa is sorry that SAMSON and Swedish Agro Machinery must now part ways: "We have been happy with the cooperation with SAMSON and wish them good luck. We look forward to continuing to service our SAMSON customers until we cease to do so, cf. the above agreements.”
In connection with SAMSON GROUP's acquisition of Gøma A/S, Gøma's product range has ceased to exist as an independent brand. Samson Agrolize AB has already taken over service and warranty obligations on the existing Gøma machine park in Sweden.
With the acquisition of Gøma A/S, SAMSON GROUP A/S will consolidate Gøma A/S and the trading company Samson Agrolize A/S – a subsidiary of SAMSON GROUP A/S in line with the manufacturing companies SAMSON AGRO A/S, SAMSON AGRO SASU (France) and SAMSON AGRO SP z o. o. (Poland) – to an even stronger dealer organization with a focus on Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
